Izabella St. James is a huge fan of pugs and has dedicated herself to saving them by creating a non-profit organization called The Pug Queen. Her mission is to rescue pugs from all over the world and provide them with the love and care they deserve. Although pugs hold a special place in her heart, she didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand when she saw a social media post about a boxer puppy that was heavily infested with ticks.
In Fresno, California, a puppy that was heavily infested with ticks was discovered lying on someone’s driveway. Fortunately, a kind-hearted man named Isaac came to the rescue and provided her with a haven until assistance arrived.
According to the Pug Queen, she fell in love with a dog that had an unusual number of ticks. To help the poor animal, she offered to pay for its medical expenses if someone could take it to the vet right away for an examination, testing, and administration of Bravecto.
Amy, a member of The House Of Muddy Paws – an animal rescue located in Fresno, took a dog to a nearby vet after discovering that it had hundreds of ticks. Amy spent countless hours removing the ticks one by one until she was forced to stop due to excessive bleeding from the dog’s skin. Despite this, it was important to be cautious as the dog had anemia. The rescue organization assured that the ticks would continue to fall off overnight.
The Pug Queen has generously covered the vet bill of $438 and has made sure that the puppy, Precious Betty, receives the necessary medical attention and care by arranging for her to be taken to Los Angeles by Wayne, a foster/pug dad. Finally, this adorable pup is receiving the love and care she deserves.
The woman’s health condition is still under observation as doctors plan to conduct more tests to determine if she has any tick-borne diseases. The initial test conducted came back negative, but a more complex and expensive tick PCR test will be conducted to confirm the results. In addition, doctors will also perform a respiratory PCR test and a fecal test to ensure that she is not contagious before she is sent to a Foster Home.
The well-being of Betty is of utmost importance. Izabella expressed that the young pup, who appears to have experienced a great deal of mistreatment and disregard, deserves a chance to receive proper care and become healthy. As a result, she will be staying with Dogtor Slaton in the coming days, with the hope of locating an ideal foster home or forever family for her.
Let’s lend a hand to Precious Betty in her quest for a kind-hearted home by spreading the word about her. She definitely merits to enjoy all the wonderful things life has to offer and be embraced by individuals who adore her.
